Far too many families in California and Washington are faced with complex challenges such as poverty, trauma, and community violence. When families are not given the supports they need to overcome these multiple stressors, these challenges can lead to youth and family involvement with the child welfare, probation, and special education systems.

Seneca believes that children and families do not themselves fail, but are failed by systems that are unable to address their complex and specialized needs. As a result, Seneca has dedicated itself to providing a comprehensive range of intensive, community-based and familyfocused services for children and families. Our commitment to providing unconditional care means that we do whatever it takes to help children and families thrive, no matter how challenging their needs and circumstances.
